Overview Of The Position:
SPARK Racing Technology is seeking a talented “Development Engineer – Chassis/Suspension”.
Based in Tigery, she/he will join the Development Group to support the team on various project, Motorsport or non-Motorsport.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test Chassis/Suspension systems
- Mechanical design for Chassis/Suspension systems (CATIA, 3D Experience)
- Define specifications for Component/Assemblies/Full Vehicle (Chassis, Suspension, Gearbox, Brake system, Electric Machine, Cooling)
- Insure overall Assemblies/Vehicle integration
- Managing and implementing overall Assemblies/vehicle validation
- Identify, evaluate and manage supplier relationships
- Effectively contribute to review meetings, presentations, following up and closing issues
- Team work to validate overall performance of the products (systems, test bench, full vehicle, …)
Profile:
- Engineering degree or equivalent expert level in Product Development and Mechanical Engineering
- At least 2 years experience in Motorsport
- Mechanical design experience in Motorsport
- Technical knowledge: Chassis, Suspension, Vehicle dynamics, Suspension, Transmission, Gearbox, Brake system, Electric Machine, Cooling system,
- Strong organization and communication skills, proactive, team player attitude, ability to work autonomously and in the strictest confidence
- Fluent in French & English, spoken and written
